“SHINE”

L’Eglise du Christ de Montreal presents “SHINE”… a Marriage Enrichment Weekend. Larry and Mary-Lou Craig, leaders of the New Jersey Region of the New York City Church of Christ and elders for many years, will be our speakers. They have been married for over 40 years and will share from the amazing life they have had together so far.
The event will take place in the enchanting Laurentian Mountains at the “Hotel Le Chantecler”. The weekend will consist of marriage classes, activities like skiing, sleigh riding and others, followed by a dinner/dance and a Sunday morning worship service.
When most people utter the words, “I do” on their wedding day, they are filled with great excitement and anticipation of a wonderful life of romance and companionship. The reality, however, is that the months and years that follow that magical moment, often erode that dream. The differences in our personality, upbringing, expectations and perspectives can cause disappointments and tarnish the dream we once had...
Fortunately, there is hope! Any couple, really, can learn to apply God’s word and witness a “renaissance” in their relationship! You can learn to resolve conflicts in a way that is humble and respectful; you can learn to communicate truthfully and with gentleness; you can learn to work as a team in perfect unity when it comes to finances, parenting and making plans for the future; you can learn how to rekindle that fire in your romantic life into yet a greater passion; it’s all there, in God’s word!


WHEN: Saturday March 26 and Sunday March 27, 2011

WHERE: Hôtel Le Chantecler in beautiful Sainte-Adèle, Quebec

COST: Registration options are as follows:
• $240 per couple for Saturday night.
• $355 per couple for both Friday and Saturday night.

Registration includes:
o One or two nights hotel stay, depending on your registration choice
o Lunch and dinner on Saturday (breakfast on Saturday if you register for Friday night).
o Saturday night buffet dinner & dance
o Sunday buffet breakfast
o All classes
o Taxes and service charges

Saturday:

• 8:30 – 10:00 am Registration
• 10:00 – 10:30 am Welcome and worship
• 10:30 – 11:30 am General session
• 11:45 am – 12:45 pm Men’s and women’s classes
• 12:45 – 2:00 pm Lunch
• 2:00 – 7:00 pm Free time/outdoor activities
• 7:00 – 11:00 pm Dinner & dance

Sunday:

• 10:00 am – noon Worship service
• 1:00 pm Check out

Samedi 12 février: shower bébé Jean-David Mardini, 14:00, c'est un café désert chez Patricia. Mélinda est en charge.
Important: Retraite de mariés. Si tu est marié, cela ne peut que faire du bien pour ton couple, fais l'effort, ça vaut la peine!!!
Luz Stella a été baptisé dimanche passé!!! Priez SVP pour elle afin qu'elle continue à grandir spirituellement.
